In a heartwarming initiative aimed at promoting education and empowering the next generation, Alamdar Peace and Welfare Foundation (APWF) distributed over 3,000 to 4,000 notebooks to children from economically weaker sections—completely free of cost.
This generous donation was part of APWF’s ongoing mission to support education for all, especially in underserved communities across Jammu & Kashmir. Recognizing the critical role that basic educational resources play in a child’s learning journey, APWF took this step to reduce the burden on families who struggle to afford school supplies.
The notebooks were distributed across various schools and community centers, with special focus on orphans, street children, and those from marginalized backgrounds. Volunteers from the foundation coordinated with local educators and community leaders to ensure the notebooks reached the hands of those who needed them the most.
Speaking about the initiative, a spokesperson from APWF said:
