Alamdar Peace and Welfare Foundation, supported by donor HCL Foundation, participates in the HCL Foundation’s “Sports for Change” initiative to provide a platform for children from government schools, especially those from economically disadvantaged families. Beneficiaries from intervention areas are selected through district and regional competitions to compete at the national level. Football is a key sport in this initiative, and the Jammu & Kashmir team, comprising both persons with and without disabilities, won the national finals held in Nagpur, Maharashtra.
